About
I’m a research artist based in North Yorkshire. I work with painting and text, often layering writing directly into the surface so it becomes part of the structure of the piece.
My practice explores identity and growth. I’m interested in how we become ourselves, especially through the lens of neurodivergence and lived experience of disability. The work is intuitive and mood-led. I follow the materials and allow space for what needs to surface.
As a neurodivergent artist, that way of working matters. Slowness, repetition and layering aren’t just aesthetic choices — they’re part of how I process and make sense of experience.
I hold a PhD in Comic Book Design and Autism Studies, and my research and practice inform one another.
